Pata Negra, Bellota & Cie, the Spanish fine grocery store in Bordeaux.

Living for many years in Spain, a country he fell madly in love with, Hugues Saint Georges Chaumet always had the idea of developing a process from Iberian gastronomy. After opening a restaurant in Nantes in 2016, he partnered with Jean François Vial to open Pata Negra, Bellota & Cie at the Grands Hommes in Bordeaux, in 2021.

Pata Negra, Bellota & Cie is a warm and friendly place where you can enjoy the best Spanish products: hams from Estremadura, cold meats from Salamanca, Leon, Andalusia or Mallorca, wines of all appellations, craft beers from Galicia, squid, sardines or mussels from Cantabria, gazpacho, pasta from the Basque country, Bomba rice for your paella, pan con tomate, etc. As quality is one of their top priorities, you can’t help but be won over by what you’re served.

Sitting at the counter, on a table inside or on our terrace, Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 9:30 pm (or later on weekends), there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy dining either alone, or with family, friends or co-workers.

In the morning for coffee, at noon for lunch with one of our delicious bocadillos, around 5:00 for a beer or glass of homemade sangria with a few chips and in the evening before or after a show with a nice plate of Pata Negra Bellota ham, our tapas, a glass of wine like a Ribera del Duero or simply to celebrate an occasion like a birthday or a going-away party.

The cherry (black from the Basque country, as it should be 😊) on the cake is that you can buy any of our product for take out!

We also provide a number of services for private individuals and companies, including the BNP, the Spanish Consulate, medical offices, notary offices, law firms, architectural firms, Sud Ouest, the Association des Grands Crus Classés de Saint Emilion, Strateagem, and the Château Feret Lambert, at the Grands Hommes or at their location.
